## Overview

HXL manages Building Regulations compliance as part of the main contract. From Full Plans submission at design stage through inspections during construction to completion certification. Our team coordinates with either Local Authority Building Control or an appointed Approved Inspector.

## Process

### 01. Route selection

LA Building Control or Approved Inspector. Advised per scheme.

### 02. Full Plans submission

Complete drawings pack, calcs and specifications lodged.

### 03. Site inspections

Coordinated at key stages. Foundations, DPC, insulation, drainage, completion.

### 04. Sign-off

Completion certificate issued, FENSA / Gas Safe / Part P certs collated into O&M.

## FAQ

**Will you warrant Building Regs compliance?**

Yes. Under both JCT Standard and Design & Build, HXL warrants Building Regs compliance as part of the works.

**Who pays the inspector's fees?**

Paid by HXL out of the contract sum. Reflected in our priced schedule from day one.
