HXL is a luxury design & build firm with 11 years in business. We deliver full-service residential construction from concept to completion, with 25+ years of combined senior experience spanning construction, project and commercial management, and quantity surveying. The firm operates from Uxbridge, serving London prime, prime-fringe and the surrounding Home Counties.
Our work is a mix of private residential new builds and refurbishments, small residential developments for investor clients, heritage-sensitive schemes on listed and conservation-area stock, a dedicated landscaping line serving residential and public-sector clients, and a growing education portfolio. Schemes typically sit between £500k and £5m+, delivered under JCT Standard or Design & Build.

The majority of our work is built to another firm's drawings. We treat those drawings as the specification, not a negotiating position. Architects who have worked with us, work with us again.

A contractor's reputation is made in the twelve months after practical completion, not the six before. We invest in aftercare because repeat business and word-of-mouth are our acquisition channel.

Commercial Lead
Cost control sits at the centre of HXL’s delivery. Every scheme is valued, tendered and reported under senior quantity surveying leadership, from initial cost plan through weekly valuations to final account. Commercial discipline baked in from design stage, not added on site.
Site Delivery
Site operations, mobilisation, programme management and trade supervision. Over a decade of experience on London residential projects, with a track record of snag-free handover.
